TikTok influencer Halley Kate is opening up to her followers about managing her chronic health condition.

On December 22, the influencer shared a new video showing her followers part of her symptom management routine.

Showing herself sitting in a chair with an IV in, she revealed that IV infusions have been key to her care.

On-screen text on the TikTok video read, “Romanticizing getting an IV infusion bc I have an INSANE needle phobia but at least this keeps me out of the hospital.”

In the caption of the video, Halley wrote, “autoimmune girlies rise up,” referring to her autoimmune condition, ulcerative colitis.

In the comments, many of her followers related to her chronic health struggles.

“I get my infusions every eight weeks for my UC!!” one fan commented.

“I feel you girl, i go once a month for ulcerative colitis. Stay up queen,” another fan added.

Other fans sent her well wishes for healing.

“manifesting uc remission for u, queen!” one fan said in the comments.

This comes after Halley had been hospitalized for several days due to a flare up of her condition back in September.

“Hi guys, I have been in the hospital for the last four days, I think,” she shared, tearing up, in a September 10 video. “No plans of getting out anytime soon. I’ll probably be here for the foreseeable future, maybe into next week.”

The influencer first revealed to her followers that she suffered from ulcerative colitis less than a month before her hospitalization, sharing in an August “day in the life” vlog that while she hadn’t had a flare-up in about five years, she was beginning to experience one at that time.

Now, it seems Halley has found a routine to help her better manage her symptoms and avoid severe flare-ups.
