Ezria fans, it’s time to get excited!
Former Pretty Little Liars co-stars Lucy Hale and Ian Harding have officially reunited to do a new film together.
The pair are best known for playing on-screen couple Aria Montgomery and Ezra Fitz, often referred to as “Ezria” collectively, in the teen drama series.
Now, they have officially announced they will be co-starring in a Christmas rom-com, to be released next holiday season.
Deadline exclusively reported that the film, titled The Twelve Dates of Christmas, will have Hale as the main character, named Christina Walker.
Walker is said to be “a successful shop owner who has devoted her energy to her career at the expense of her dating life.”
Seeing her younger siblings begin to get married while she remains single, she comes up with a plan: “to go on 12 dates in the 12 weeks leading up to Christmas in hopes of finding ‘Mr. Right.’”
Naturally, the experience leads to some frustrations, funny moments, and incorporates some holiday cheer.
Hale also proudly announced the news in an Instagram post, including a screenshot of the Deadline article and a photo and video of her and Harding goofing around on set.
In the comments, fans expressed their excitement for the pair to finally be reunited on a new film.
“Wait! Seriously!? Best news!! Can’t wait to see this movie!! This took way too long,” one fan commented on the post.
Even actress Shay Mitchell, another former Pretty Little Liars co-star, chimed in to say, “I CAN’T WAIT!!!”
The duo had previously teased the news in a joint Instagram post they captioned “Hale and Harding take 2.”
