Drake and 21 Savage are back on a track together.
“Mr. Recoup” is one of the songs featured on 21 Savage‘s new album WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS?, and it features the rap tag-team duo uniting once again, in what is a sequel to “Mr. Right Now” from Savage Mode II.

The two have collaborated many times in the past, including hits like “Calling for You,” “It’s Up,” “Knife Talk,” “Jimmy Cooks” and “Sneakin,” as well as their 2022 collaborative tape Her Loss.
In fact, they’ve collaborated a total of 17 previous times!
Two years ago, 21 Savage joined Drake on his It’s All a Blur Tour.
The newest collaboration was produced by OZ and Reske.
“Us, us, it was us / N–s shot my brother, now I don’t know who to trust / My opps be so broke that we’ve been shootin’ at the bus / Bro say, ‘Play it patient,’ nah, dog, I’m in a rush, I’m tryna buck,” they declare.
The lyric may be a reference to 21’s brother Quantivayus “Tasman” Joseph, who was shot and killed during a drug deal.
What Happened To The Streets? features cover art that is an original painting and collectors item from British-Nigerian designer and artist Slawn, inspired by Kerry James Marshall’s “A Portrait of the Artist as a Shadow of His Former Self.” The two designed four one-of-a-kind album covers and toured them throughout Miami during Art Basel this year.
