Laura Dern is getting back to work following the death of her mom Diane Ladd.
The 58-year-old Oscar-winning actress was all smiles as she attended a Q&A event for her new movie Is This Thing On? held on Sunday night (November 23) in Los Angeles.
Laura was seen wearing a denim blouse and black leather skirt.
Joining Laura at the event was her co-star and director Bradley Cooper.
Back on November 3, Laura announced that her mother had passed away at the age of 89.
“She was the greatest daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist and empathetic spirit that only dreams could have seemingly created,” Laura wrote in memory of Diane. “We were blessed to have her. She is flying with her angels now.”
Is This Thing On? – which also stars Will Arnett and Andra Day – will be released in theaters on December 19. Watch the trailer here!
