Lily Allen appears to be putting ex-husband David Harbour on blast.
On Friday (October 24), the 40-year-old English singer released her new album West End Girl in which she seemingly accuses the 50-year-old Stranger Things actor of cheating on her.
After listening to the album, there’s one question on everyone’s mind now – ?
Keep reading to find out more…On her new album, Lily alludes to having an open marriage with David, but then sings about him “breaking their rules.”
Then on several songs, Lily sings about her partner developing an emotional connection with another woman. On her song “Madeline,” Lily sings, “We had an arrangement / Be discreet and don’t be blatant / There had to be payment / It had to be with strangers / But you’re not a stranger, Madeline.”
Lily also sings about having a conversation with “Madeline,” telling her she knows the situation isn’t her fault and that she probably shouldn’t be contacting her, but she saw a message from her on her partner’s phone.
It’s safe to assume that the woman David was allegedly having an affair with isn’t actually named Madeline, but fans have been trying to figure out who she really is.
The Daily Mail has reported that David allegedly had a three-year affair with a “younger costume designer” while he was married to Lily.
After marrying Lily in September 2020, David has starred in several movies – 2021′s No Sudden Move and Black Widow, 2022′s Violent Night, 2023′s We Have a Ghost and Gran Turismo, along with 2025′s A Working Man and Thunderbolts*.
Many fans have also speculated that Madeline may have worked on Stranger Things with David, since Lily references a “stranger” a lot in her lyrics on the new album.
“We had an arrangement / Be discreet and don’t be blatant / There had to be payment / It had to be with strangers / But you’re not a stranger, Madeline,” Lily sings on the song “Madeline.”
