    5. ‘Charlotte’s Web’ (2025)

HBO Max has largely moved away from family entertainment and children’s animation, but there’s at least one more big project in that wheelhouse. The new animated adaptation of E.B. White’s Charlotte’s Web will bring the classic story to life with Amy Adams as the voice of Charlotte and Elijah Wood as a pig named Wilbur.

Charlotte is a spider who feels compassion for Wilbur, and she spares him from being slaughtered by writing messages about him in her web. That makes the humans believe Wilbur is special, when it’s really the spider they should be looking at. This miniseries also has an incredible voice cast, including Cynthia Erivo, Danny Trejo, Randall Park, Keith David and Rosario Dawson. If it can recapture the magic of the novel, this could be really special.

Charlotte’s Web will stream on HBO Max on October 2.

    4. ‘I Love LA’ (2025)

October is the peak of spooky season, and HBO Max is certainly bringing its share of scares this month. The streamer is set to debut one of the year’s most high-profile shows, IT: Welcome to Derry, just before Halloween, and Watch With Us can’t wait to dive into the backstory of one of Stephen King‘s […]

When the group reunites, it’s hard for them not to fall into some familiar patterns. However, the friends have changed since they last saw each other, and their life goals and newfound relationships may no longer be compatible with the people they were close to just a few years ago.

I Love LA will stream on HBO Max on November 2.

Pierre Choderlos de LaclosLes Liaisons dangereuses has been a popular novel for over two centuries and has been adapted numerous times. American audiences are more likely to know it as Dangerous Liaisons from the 1988 film or the 2022 TV series than anything else. This fall, HBO Max is launching a new French adaptation, which will be released in this country as The Seduction.

This period drama will maintain the 18th-century setting of the novel, with Anamaria Vartolomei as Isabelle de Merteuil, a young woman who dares to defy the cultural norms of the time in her pursuit of emotional and sexual freedom as she strives to become a courtesan. But Isabelle can’t reach that goal without making several enemies along the way.

The Seduction will stream on HBO Max on November 14.

If you loved director Andy Muschietti’s IT and IT Chapter Two, you’ve probably been eagerly awaiting HBO’s prequel series. IT: Welcome to Derry is premiering on October 26 on HBO and HBO Max, and after seeing the trailer, we can’t wait to see Pennywise again (even if we’re more than a little terrified as well). […]

    2. ‘The Chair Company’ (2025)

Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin — the team behind Netflix’s I Think You Should Leave — are bringing their brand of cringe comedy to HBO Max. Robinson stars as William Ronald Trosper, a man who embarrasses himself at work in a very public way. Somehow, that leads William to believe that he’s uncovered a vast conspiracy.

Is William really on to something or is he losing his mind? Both might be true, but the latter seems more likely. Lake Bell costars as William’s wife, Barb Trosper, with Sophia Lillis and Will Price as their children, Natalie and Seth. It seems like a safe bet that William will find some way to embarrass his entire family before the season is over.

The Chair Company will stream on HBO Max on October 12.

    1. ‘It: Welcome to Derry’ (2025)

Stephen King‘s It gets a prequel series this fall with It: Welcome To Derry. Bill Skarsgård is reprising his role as Pennywise the Clown from the two films, but he’s not the only source of evil in this small town. The show focuses on an African American couple, Leroy (Jovan Adepo)  and Charlotte Hanlon (Taylour Paige), as well as their son, William

Shortly after arriving in Derry, the Hanlons realize that the underlying racism among some of the townspeople isn’t all they have to worry about. A young boy has disappeared at Pennywise’s hands, and he won’t be the last child to meet that fate. William and other Derry kids will attempt to confront this demonic clown, but the odds of their success aren’t very good.

It: Welcome to Derry will stream on HBO Max on October 26.
