Bugonia stars Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons promoted their film at the 2025 Venice Film Festival today!
The photo call and press conference took place on Thursday (August 28) in Venice, Italy, where director Yorgos Lanthimos, writer Will Tracy, cinematographer Robbie Ryan, and composer Jerskin Fendrix were all in attendance.
While at the press conference, Emma confessed she believes in aliens.
The topic of astronomer Carl Sagan came up, and Emma said, via THR, “I watched his show, Cosmos, and fell madly in love with his philosophy and his science and how brilliant he seems to be. The idea that we are alone in this vast expanse of the universe — truly not that we’re being watched but that we’re alone out here — is a pretty narcissistic thing to think.”
“Yes, I’m coming out with it. I believe in aliens. Thank you,” she added.
