The final episode of Ironheart introduced a long-awaited villain to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It’s Mephisto played by Sacha Baron Cohen. In the comics he’s the Marvel equivalent to the Devil (or a close approximation of) and he’s the guy who Spider-Man sold his marriage to.

Creator Chinaka Hodge said on introducing Mephisto, “It was not my decision alone. I was empowered by Marvel to make that decision… I don’t know what will happen next with the character or with Sasha in the MCU. But as a fan, I’m really hoping to see him make lots of appearances.”
