Paramount is looking to make a new film version of Stephen King’s The Stand with Doug Liman directing. It’s still in development but is reportedly high priority.
Sources say this will be a single film (good luck with that). It was previously adapted as a miniseries in 1994 and again in 2020.
Liman’s films include Swingers, Go, The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jumper and Edge of Tomorrow.
