Kristin Scott Thomas is bringing her real-life story to the big screen!
The 65-year-old actress serves as director, writer, and star of the new movie My Mother’s Wedding, which will be released in theaters later this summer.
Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, and Emily Beecham star in the movie as Kristin‘s three daughters.
Here’s the synopsis: “In this heartfelt and funny story, three sisters (Johansson, Miller, & Beecham) return to their childhood home for a momentous occasion: the third wedding of their twice-widowed mother (Thomas). Over the weekend, the family gathers to celebrate the new marriage, but mother and daughters alike are forced to revisit the past and confront the future, all with help from a colorful group of unexpected wedding guests.”
