Huda Mustafa‘s ex, and father of her daughter, is reacting to the online backlash she’s been receiving.
The current Love Island USA season seven contestant from Raleigh, North Carolina, has drawn mixed reactions on social media during the past couple weeks, more on the negative side due to her reactions and alleged toxicity.
Fans even recently got to vote to split up her coupling and would wait for her crash out, even her castmates have been speaking out on the show. Other viewers have also called for her to be removed from the villa and seek mental health treatment.
Now, her ex, Noah Sheline, took to his Instagram story on Monday (June 16) to call for kindness and empathy for her, and remember that she is still human, has a daughter and a life outside of the villa.

“At the end of the day I hope everyone remembers we’re human,” Noah shared in a lengthy statement on his Instagram story, via Elite Daily. “Her going on that show to find love, or whatever you think it was she’s doing, remember she’s still human, she has a daughter, and a life. A lot of you it seems like all can do is scour for her videos or mine and post rude things and comment worse. For one go walk outside or something that’s gotta be unhealthy. Not to mention yell findin my page She’s maybe n t doing a great job idk I don’t watch the show but I don’t like that I’m seeing so much negative piton my page or even clips of k about her. It’s not my job to police her or the people in my comments, but 1 will say what you guys do will affect her mental health and my daughters maybe in the future. So I’m looking out for her in that aspect. Out of respect for our daughter.”
“It doesn’t much bother me when people talk shit about me I know they don’t know me or how I am as a father, but I’m worried. I’m a coparent and while I don’t want to get back with huda I do care about her as the mother of my child and I would just ask for people to leave the negative shit aside,” he continued. “#doitforraleigh you don’t have to do it for any other reason if she makes you that mad. It’s crazy I have to involve myself in this but I don’t want my daughters mom to get out and see this and her mental health goes down a hill. For the people who have been respectful and nice and defending her as a mother, thank you! She tries just as much as any other young parent in this world.”
“Not sure what else to say, or if I’m talking to a well of social media I just ask people be nice. It’s a tv show. rail are watching people date I don’t think it’s that serious to put someone down a hole of bullying. Regardless of how ridiculous she might be or seem. Thanks for reading. Even though people won’t ask idc if you spread this.”
“Just to clarify I don’t watch the show I don’t want to get back with her I’m not gonna go on that show if they asked,” he concluded. “All the other questions just don’t be weird, stop assuming things if you don’t know me or her it makes you seem dumb, about 90% are totally off on the negative stuff you comment about me. I can only imagine her page.”
On Tuesday night’s (June 17) episode, Huda became single and was vulnerable of being voted out of the villa for a second time, but she was saved by a majority of her fellow islanders. She’s now able to couple up with someone new in the future.
