Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Nepola has been packing on the PDA with estranged husband Todd Nepola, and a source exclusively tells Life & Style that they’re both enjoying a no-strings-attached hookup arrangement — which may sound odd to many, but it totally works for them.
“It was Todd that initiated the breakup and Todd that initiated this new arrangement. Alexia seems to be willing to do almost anything to keep him in her life except quit the show,” the insider reveals.
“The show is what got in the way and why he filed for divorce. She’s still on the show but she won’t be forever, so the fact that even after filing for divorce Todd can’t stay away is not something she can ignore,” the source continues.
“The fact is, she loves being around him, the sparks still fly between them, they’re like two teenagers. She feels she’d be foolish to turn her back on that,” the insider dishes.
“Ultimately, she does hope they will reconcile and try again, but for now she’s keeping it low pressure and they are taking baby steps. They’re dating each other again and having a lot of fun. The big question is how much will be documented for the show, since Todd’s got his issues with that,” the source explains.
Todd, 52, filed for divorce in April 2024. The duo finalized their divorce in March but Alexia, 58, said at the time that their relationship was still very much alive.
“After thoughtful reflection, Todd and I have reached an amicable divorce settlement. While our marriage has legally ended, our relationship has not,” she told People. “We continue to love and support each other as we navigate this next chapter. We appreciate the understanding, love, and support from our family, friends and fans.”
The pair was photographed kissing and cuddling in the surf off Miami Beach on April 29, proving the heat is still there in the former couple’s romance despite their divorce being finalized the month prior.

Alexia recently confessed that of her three ex-husbands, which include Peter “Pegy” Rosello and Herman Echevarria, Todd is the only one whom she would consider walking down the aisle with again.
The Miami native married the former drug kingpin Peter, 60, in 1992 and the pair divorced in 1996. The duo shares sons Peter Rosello, 32, and Frankie Rosello, 28. Alexia went on to marry businessman Herman in 2004, but they split in 2015. He died from a heart attack the following year at the age of 61.
“Only to Todd, I would only remarry Todd. Not anybody else,” the Bravolebrity told Page Six at the Real Housewives of Miami season 7 premiere party on Tuesday, June 10.
“So, I would definitely love to renew my vows one day with him, but I’m definitely not getting married to anyone else, That’s for sure!” Alex added.
She also revealed that she “would definitely not do it on TV,” referring to another potential wedding. ”I feel like that’s such a special moment between the bride and the groom,” she continued, while saying how filming “takes away [from] everything.”
“Looking back, I knew it was something he didn’t want and he didn’t feel comfortable with, she said of their December 2021 televised nuptials at the Eden Rock Hotel in St. Barts. “I do regret it.”
Alexia and Todd got engaged in December 2019 after two years of dating. Their wedding was pushed back from August 2021, when Alexia’s mom Nancy passed away.
“Early this morning I lost my mom to the horrible and deadly COVID-19. The last couple of days have been a rollercoaster of emotions for me. I was on the road to marry the man of my dreams when I had to stop everything as my mother became ill. What was supposed to be the happiest day of my life today has turned out to be the saddest,” she wrote in an August 25, 2021, Instagram post.
