Because daughter Méi (now 8 months old) arrived via a surrogate, Olivia Munn did not feel as connected to her as she did when she was pregnant with son Malcolm.
She noted that people say fathers don’t have that immediate connection until the baby is in front of them.
She opted for a surrogate after a double mastectomy and hysterectomy following her breast cancer diagnosis.
She says she sees herself in Méi and her worries of “will my daughter know me” have subsided.
Munn and husband John Mulaney are still debating if they will have more children, saying that two kids is a lot.
