The American Music Awards is celebrating its return to broadcast TV with a magnificent night hosted by Jennifer Lopez.
Lopez, 55, was 21 when she made her AMA debut in 1991 as a backup dancer for New Kids on the Block. She’s since performed on the show countless times and first hosted in 2015, becoming the fourth music star of all time to solo-host the ceremony twice.
This year, she’s pulling double duty, both hosting and performing during the Monday, May 26, awards show, held at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas — the first time in history the AMAs have taken place outside the Los Angeles area.
In addition to performances from stars like Lopez, Benson Boone, Janet Jackson, Lainey Wilson and more, the 2025 AMAs, held on Memorial Day, is featuring a special tribute to fallen U.S. troops and veterans.
