    Bindi Irwin Explains Why She Shares Health Journey With Fans Two Weeks After Appendix Ruptured

    Bindi Irwin is sharing a new health update with fans.

    Two weeks ago, the 26-year-old Australian conservationist was hospitalized after her appendix ruptured and over the years, she has been very open about her battle with endometriosis.

    In a new Instagram post shared on Sunday (May 25), Bindi explained why she’s so open about her health journey.

    Keep reading to find out more…“Healing. Thank you for your incredible words of support and kindness,” Bindi wrote along with some photos of herself in New York City.

    “The reason I share my health journey is because more girls and women desperately need answers to their undiagnosed pain,” Bindi explained. “I’ve battled with endometriosis for more than 12 years. This disease is crippling and can make you feel incredibly isolated. We need to raise awareness and change the narrative for women’s health.”

    She concluded, “I see you, your pain is real, and you deserve answers and genuine health care. For more information visit @endofound.”
