“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,” a spokesperson for Bieber said in a statement. “Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve,” the rep added.
Online speculation started after a clip of Diddy hanging out with a 15-year-old Bieber resurfaced online following Combs’ arrest. It was reported that multiple people present at the time said that Bieber’s longtime security chief Kenny Hamilton shielded him from music industry vultures, bad actors, as well as Diddy.
