Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet experienced an uncomfortable PDA moment shortly after they made their red carpet debut as a couple.
While attending the David di Donatello Awards in Rome on Wednesday, May 7, the cameras were on Timothée, 29, and Kylie, 27, as he stood up to accept the David Award for Cinematic Excellence. The A Complete Unknown actor leaned in to his girlfriend for a quick kiss. Footage captured her leaning in for a second kiss, though he missed her attempt and moved on to high five someone sitting behind her.
Despite the mishap, Kylie handled the blunder like a pro and applauded Timothée as he made his way to the stage to accept the award.
Shortly after the video circulated online, several fans took to social media to comment on the uncomfortable PDA moment. “Omg that’s hilarious!” one person wrote via Facebook, while another added, “She is incredibly awkward.”
Just hours before Timothée accepted the award, he and Kylie took a major step in their relationship when they made their red carpet debut at the awards show. The couple held hands as they walked onto the carpet and they stood close as they posed for photos.
The Little Women actor looked handsome in a sleek velvet suit, while Kylie matched in a black dress that hugged her curves.
The pair were first linked in the spring of 2023, and have managed to keep many details of their relationship out of the spotlight. However, sources have exclusively told Life & Style that Timothée and Kylie are serious about each other.
“Nobody predicted when Timmy started dating Kylie that it would become this intense, serious, pre-marital relationship, but that’s exactly what has happened and both of them do say they want to spend the rest of their lives together,” an insider revealed on March 31.
While they haven’t made many public appearances together, the source said that their inner circle knows about their plans for the future together. “They’re not hedging that kind of talk or beating around the bush about it — it’s right out there in the open among their personal circle that an engagement is going to happen, sooner rather than later,” the insider shared.
While it’s believed that a potential engagement would be genuine, they are aware that their relationship has the potential to make them both even more famous if it lasts long term.
