Jury selection is now underway in the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The search for jurors continued throughout the week in Manhattan’s federal court, where potential jurors were asked if they recognized several celebrities from a list of 190 names, per Variety.
While some of the names on the list presented to potential jurors were more expected based on their previously relationships to Diddy, others were more surprising, and it’s unclear how or if other stars will actually be mentioned in the ongoing case.
The trial is expected to last at least eight weeks. Jury selection will take place until May 12, which is when opening arguments will likely happen.
Diddy is facing five counts, including one for racketeering, two for sex trafficking and two for transportation to engage in prostitution. If he is convicted on any or all counts, Diddy could face life in prison.
