Lindsay Hubbard has been known to document her relationships on Summer House over the years, though her current relationship with Turner Kufe has remained mostly out of the spotlight. The Bravo star opens up about navigating their private romance as a public figure during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.
“It’s challenging, for sure to, you know, to navigate that,” Lindsay, 38, exclusively tells Life & Style about their relationship while promoting her partnership with Air Wick. “I think it’s hard because I am a public figure. I’ve been on TV for almost a decade.”
After noting that reality stars “tend to be even more public” than other types of public figures, she points out that her personal life is on display even when Summer House isn’t airing. “I think it also translates to Instagram, as well,” she says. “We live our lives on screen, you know, during the times and seasons that we film. But then, you know, for the other seasons, I am living my life on Instagram.”
“So it is challenging being with somebody private. I never thought that I would be in a relationship with somebody this private,” Lindsay adds about Turner.
However, Lindsay adds that she had her relationships more public “for so long” that she was “ready for a good change” when she started dating Turner.
Lindsay adds there’s one specific reason that fans might not see Turner ever appear on reality TV with her. “It’s tough when, you know, you’re dealing with a job in finance,” she says. “Kyle [Cooke] and I talk about this all the time, you know, even with our friends, our guy friends, girlfriends who are in finance, they’ve never been able to film with us throughout the years. It’s a very strict industry when it comes to publicity, you know.”
The Florida native explains that many people who work in finance are “not allowed to have any publicity,” which makes the possibility of Turner appearing on Bravo unlikely.
“I obviously need the father of my child to keep his job,” she adds with a laugh.
Lindsay and Turner first dated back in late 2020, though they stopped seeing each other and later reconnected in December 2023 after she called off her engagement to Carl Radke in September 2023. She and Turner officially began dating again in January 2024, and they welcomed their daughter, Gemma, in December 2024.
In addition to discussing her relationship with Turner, Lindsay also opens up about her partnership with Air Wick. She has teamed up with the brand to create a collection of vision boards for everyday hosting occasions inspired by their fragrances. The new collection offers hosting ideas and inspiration, while also making home entertaining feel approachable and exciting.
