Alexander Skarsgard and Jack McBrayer have been best friends for years and now they’re working together!
The longtime buddies posed for adorable prom-style photos on the red carpet for the premiere of their new Apple TV+ series Murderbot on Monday (April 28) at Regal Union Square in New York City.
Alex was channeling Neo in The Matrix with his outfit at the event.
Also in attendance at the premier were co-stars David Dastmalchian, Noma Dumezweni, Sabrina Wu, Tattiawna Jones, Tamara Podemski, Clark Gregg, and Anna Konkle.
Here’s a synopsis: In a high-tech future, a rogue security robot (Skarsgard) secretly gains free will. To stay hidden, it reluctantly joins a new mission protecting scientists on a dangerous planet… even though it just wants to binge soap operas.
The new sci-fi action comedy series, based on the book series by Martha Wells, will debut on Apple TV+ on May 16. The first season contains 10 episodes. Check out the first photos from the show!
