Summer House star Carl Radke opened up about ex-fiancée Lindsay Hubbard’s pregnancy, and he made a surprising comment as she moved on with her new boyfriend, Turner Kufe.
During the Wednesday, March 26, episode, Carl, 40, spoke to his new friend Lil about his current dynamic with Lindsay, 38, during a shipwreck-themed party. “She got pregnant with his child in the bed I paid for in that apartment,” he said.
After Carl and Lindsay called off their engagement in September 2023, she shocked fans when she confirmed that she was pregnant with baby No. 1 in July 2024. She originally kept the identity of her child’s father private, though eventually confirmed that Turner is the father. She gave birth to their daughter, Gemma Britt Kufe, on December 8, 2024.
Season 9 currently shows Carl and Lindsay living in the same Hamptons home for the summer, though she skipped the party during the latest episode in favor of staying in New York City.
Despite not attending the party, she did take credit for coming up with the bash’ shipwreck theme. “Carl is like, the most like, non-creative guy I ever met,” the former publicist said in a confessional. “He stole like, all of my ideas and thoughts while we were together so, of course he’s still doing that.”
Lindsay also shared an update about the apartment she currently lives in, which she previously shared with Carl during their relationship. While speaking to her aunt Rhonda, Lindsay said that she got rid of the “bad vibes couch” where Carl ended their engagement.
“This apartment has seen so much s–t,” she said in a confessional. “I considered moving out because I’m like, ‘Oh maybe it’s just like bad energy, this apartment.] No, no, no. If you eliminate the bad energy, then the apartment is fine. Now I’m just like, stress free, I don’t give a f–k.”
While fans are currently watching Carl and Lindsay navigate their new dynamic on the show, Lindsay is now embracing her life as a new mother. While exclusively speaking to Life & Style in February, Lindsay said that motherhood has made her “a complete softie.”
“[I] smother my daughter [Gemma] with cuddles [and] kisses all the time,” she shared. “To this day, I cry whenever she has a big cry because I just want her to be happy [and] healthy.”
Lindsay also revealed that she “had a lot of fun being pregnant over the summer” while filming season 9. “I was in my second trimester, so I had a good amount of energy,” she recalled. “I wasn’t too big yet, and I truly enjoyed celebrating my pregnancy with the whole house.”
The Bravo star clearly loved being pregnant, though being a mother will likely impact her involvement on Summer House. Season 10 has not yet been confirmed, though Lindsay said she would like to appear in some capacity.
“Of course I would love to come back next season,” she told E! News during a February 6 interview. “Obviously I’m not going to live in the house full time, it’s a party house. But we have over the last couple of years done a lot of filming in [New York City]. There’s a lot of opportunity to still be on the show and participate with my life, but not having to live in the house.”
