Emily Osment is ending her short marriage to husband Jack Anthony.
The nearly 33-year-old Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage star filed for divorce on Friday (March 7) after only five months of being married, according to People.
She also shared a statement about her decision to end the marriage.

In her filing, Emily cited irreconcilable differences and marked the date of separation as December 7, 2024, just less than two months after they tied the knot. The now former couple also had a prenup.
“I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision,” Emily shared in a statement to People. “Ultimately, it didn’t work out.”
Emily and Jack got engaged in June 2023, after dating for at least two years – their first social media post together was in October 2021.
“I did not know life could be this sweet or I could ever be this deliriously happy. I am so proud of the life we have built together and the people we have become over the last few years,” Emily previously said in her engagement announcement. “This love is so big and so uniquely ours and I know it can do anything. I am so honored to stand next to you every day. I love you, Jack.”

Emily‘s comedy series Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, a Young Sheldon spinoff, received an additional episode order back in October 2024, bringing it’s first season to 22 episodes. Since then, the show has been picked up for a second season!!
