Things looked a bit different for the cast of Summer House when they filmed season 9 of their hit show in the Hamptons last year. Lindsay Hubbard was pregnant (she welcomed daughter Gemma with boyfriend Turner Kufe in December), the season 8 romance between Ciara Miller and West Wilson had fizzled, and cameras caught the beginning of the end of Paige DeSorbo’s three-year relationship with Southern Charm’s Craig Conover (they announced their split in December 2024). Of course, some things remained the same, with epic parties, hot hookups and lots of pot stirring. “We all do a really good job of being dramatic,” says Paige. Here, Paige, Lindsay, Ciara, West, Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Gabby Prescod, Carl Radke, Jesse Solomon and newbies Lexi Wood and Imrul Hassan exclusively talk to Life & Style‘s Fortune Benatar about old flames and new feuds.
Who brings the most drama?
Ciara: I’m not sure I can dedicate this fully to one person. It’s probably why we are on our ninth season. Kudos to us!
West: Hate to say it but Jesse. He lived five lives last summer!
Carl: It’s a collective effort from all of us boys.
Amanda: Jesse — but completely unintentionally.
Gabby: The drama king, Jesse, is the proud owner of that title.
Jesse: F–king Imrul.
Imrul: Lindsay or Kyle. They wear their heart on their sleeves and say what comes to mind.
Kyle: West took the pot stirrer from the reunion and passed it to Jesse.
Ciara, you and Lexi have friction over Jesse?
Ciara: Let’s be very clear: No one was fighting over Jesse — as much as he would love that!
West, how was it living with Ciara and seeing Jesse flirt with her?
West: It started out weird but things got better as the summer went on. We’re both flirty guys, so I don’t worry about Jesse.
Carl, what was it like seeing Lindsay prepare for motherhood?
Carl: I’m happy for her. She’s going to be a great mom.
Gabby, how is Lindsay as a mom?
Gabby: Lindsay was the funniest person. Don’t get me wrong, she still has it in her, but her cub really mellowed her out.
Amanda and Kyle, did Lindsay give you guys baby fever?
Amanda: Not at all. I have plenty of friends who are pregnant and have kids, and I’m so happy for them, but I’m also very happy about my life as it is at the moment.
Kyle: It definitely added sparks to the fire. We want to start a family; we just haven’t felt ready.
Lexi and Imrul, any regrets?
Imrul: I regret not prioritizing making connections with some of the housemates. I spent more time finding connections outside of the house ….
Lexi: Trusting too much too soon! I’ve learned to take things slower and let people show me who they really are.
