Instagram official! Christina Haack (formerly known as Christina Hall) hard launched her relationship with new boyfriend Chris Larocca as they took a flight on a private plane, along with some of the HGTV star’s friends.
“Some plane flights must be hard posted,” Christina, 41, wrote alongside a carousel of pictures on Wednesday, February 5.
One shot showed the Christina on the Coast star snuggled up in Chris’ lap while they each enjoyed a glass of champagne. Another image featured Christina with her arms around Chris, 52, as they stood in front of a plane.
On January 10, the Daily Mail reported that Christina was dating someone new amid her ongoing divorce from Josh Hall.
“Christina has been dating Chris Larocca for a few months now. They’re always together and out and about around Newport,” an insider told the outlet. “They even have traveled abroad and visited other countries together.”
The source added that they were “surprised” that more people didn’t know about the Christina in the Country host’s new boyfriend because they “certainly [didn’t] hide that they were together.” Plus, Christina also follows the Orange County CEO on Instagram.
The Flip Off star’s relationship is seemingly the first one she’s been in since she filed for divorce from Josh, 44, in July 2024. The estranged couple’s split quickly became messy and both have taken shots at one another in the courtroom and on social media.
Christina claimed that Josh transferred “over $35,000” to his account from the bank account she used for her rental properties. According to legal documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Christina requested for “Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance and maintenance for these rental properties.”
The former Texas real estate agent fired back and claimed that he had paid for expenses relating to the rental properties with the funds. Josh claimed that he had previously been the party responsible for the costs related to those homes.
On July 25, 2024, Christina took a dig at Josh via her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Over here waiting for the typical hired PR speech of ‘how I was blindsided and how I’m working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch.’ I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children, and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed. An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you – but, ‘still I rise.’”
She concluded by adding, “For those that aren’t aware … Divorces do not happen overnight … [and] there is always a breaking point. This one is personal.”
The month following their divorce filings, Josh opened up about his breakup with Christina via Instagram.
“I prefer privacy, especially during something as life changing as a divorce I did not ask for. I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever,” Josh wrote in a since-deleted post on August 3, 2024.
He continued, “We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are.”
