- Brian Jordan Alvarez is the creator/star of the hit English Teacher
- These accusations date back 11 years to his work on the webseries The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo
- They come from his ex friend and co-star of the show Jon Ebeling
- Ebeling says they became friends and collaborators
- Alvarez introduced him to his best friend, actress Stephanie Koenig
- Ebeling developed a crush and began dating Koenig. At the same time Alvarez seemed to develop a crush and become fixated on Ebeling
- The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo often used featured fictionalized versions of the trios relationships though Ebeling’s character was written as more bi-curious
- After the pilot was shot Alvarez asked Ebeling if he was using him for work and to get close to Stephanie Koenig
- He initiated sexual contact which Ebeling felt pressured into. He told Koenig who broke up with him as she felt he had cheated on her
- Later Alvarez wrote a more consensual version of the encounter into the show. When they were filming he performed oral sex that was supposed to only be mimed on Ebeling
- Ebeling immediately told Koenig through text
- She not only blamed him saying she didn’t understand how he could be assaulted because he was a man, she later told him Alvarez was not a rapist and he was making the incident too big in his mind
- Alvarez admits to briefly accidentally touching his penis during the scene which he said he thought was okay because of their previous sexual encounter
- Ebeling initially felt he had been raped but later decided he had been confused as his friends all refused to support him. He remained friendly collaborators with the group
- In 2019 he felt he could never get over it and Alvarez’s career began to take off he felt like Ebeling would use this destroy him and begged him not to
- The pandemic and meeting his current fiancée who supported him and told him he had been raped gave him the courage to break with his ex friends and come forward
I believed Ebeling to begin with but the texts are damning. Fuck Alvarez and fuck Koenig too.
