The Hollywood Reporter has named its hottest up-and-coming stars. It is pleasantly diverse, with lots of fresh names and faces. (Most of whom I don’t recognize, as I am an old person.) Are your favs on the list? Here are five that they chose:
- Kit Connor, 20: A Broadway actor in “Romeo + Juliet” who also stars in the show Heartstopper.
- Ryan Destiny, 29: She went from a supporting role in Grown-ish to starring in Barry Jenkins’s newest film.
- David Johsson, 31: He had a great run of luck in Industry, Alien: Romulus, and starring as Sammy David Jr. in an upcoming movie.
- Josh Rivera, 29: He was broke after being in Spielberg’s West Side Story, then he got the lead in Ryan Murphy’s Aaron Hernandez project.
- Kaia Gerber, 23: Yup, nepo baby Kaia Gerber, who is already well-established in Hollywood, is on the list. I guess it’s because she is transitioning from modeling to acting.
