-Katy explains that the whole video purposely sarcastic, slapstick, on the nose and really overplaying it. She frames this video as a reset for herself and her idea of the feminine divine. Says it’s a whole different world we go to after this.
-I did catch elements of satire in the video but I felt like it didn’t land. Initially I was gonna say this feels like walking back but this does slightly confirm my suspicions that this video was made intentional to cause reactions so she could build of from that. All press is good press, granted let’s see if the next singles hit cause if not….
