Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife Jennifer Meyer, 47, seemingly defended him after he was spotted with 20-year-old actress Lily Chee.
Meyer allegedly came to his defense during two heated Instagram exchanges.
Meyer claimed that he was “kindly helping” Chee to her car.
“He was simply being a good guy. And now he has [been] blasted online for dating someone he is not. But thank you for your rude comment. I hope it made you feel better today. Wishing you love and light,”
Meyer allegedly later responded to the same person: “I am disengaging after this… But don’t believe everything you read (I’m sure you were taught that somewhere) Tobey is as good of a guy as it gets.”
