One month after reporting to prison, Jen Shah‘s sentence has been reduced.

Back on February 17, the 49-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star surrendered to the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas on Friday (February 17) after pleading guilty to criminal fraud charges stemming from an alleged telemarketing scheme.

Back in January, Jen was sentenced to 78 months, which is six years and six months, in prison and will be subject to five years of supervised release once she gets out.

On Sunday (March 26), it was revealed that Jen will be released sooner than expected.

Jen is now scheduled to be released from prison on August 30, 2028, a full year earlier than her original release date.

“I have spoken with my client Jen Shah over the phone this week — she is doing well and remains committed towards making her victims whole,” Jen‘s rep shared in a statement with People. “She has initiated her payments towards restitution, and we hope to have her home as soon as possible so that she may resume life with her family and work, putting this chapter of her life behind her.”

After months of claiming her innocence, Jen entered a guilty plea during her court appearance in July 2022.

Along with her prison sentence, Jen was also ordered to attend a mental health treatment program once she is released.
