Nicola Coughlan is clapping back at people calling her “brave” for doing steamy scenes on the Netflix television series Bridgerton.
The 37-year-old actress plays Penelope Featherington, who is the romantic female lead of the third season alongside Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton.
While attending a screening and Q&A event in Dublin, Ireland, someone made the “brave” comment to Nicola while she stood on stage.

“You know, it is hard because I think women with my body type — women with perfect breasts — we don’t get to see ourselves on screen enough,” Nicola said. “And I’m very proud as a member of the perfect breast community. I hope you enjoy seeing them.”
